For decades, family and friends have celebrated the Fourth of July holiday by attending Pleasant Valley Days in Scofield. This year was no different as family and friends from all over the state of Utah gathered in the tiny town of Scofield to enjoy the festivities.

This year’s Pleasant Valley Days boasted a large variety of food vendors, as well as activities for all attendees to enjoy. The Livid Dead, a southern rock band, rocked the park Thursday and Friday night. There was an early morning 5K, Dutch oven breakfast, silent auction, raffles, dancing and, of course, fireworks over the reservoir, which is always a favorite.

Saturday morning after breakfast, festival-goers lined the street for a chance to snag some candy from the parade. Finding a spot to stand proved difficult as Pleasant Valley Days has grown substantially over the years. Nonetheless, there was plenty of candy for everyone.
