Wellington Police recovered an array of stolen vehicles after being dispatched to a home on a report of a man in possession of suspicious vehicles on Tuesday morning.

According to Wellington Police Chief Chad Fiechko, it was reported around 8 a.m. that 53-year-old Steven Scott Adkisson was in Wellington and in possession of a suspicious trailer, street bike and motorcycle. Police made contact with the vehicles and determined that they were reported stolen out of Provo and had stolen license plates. Police seized the items but did not make contact with Adkisson.

Around 2 p.m., police were once again dispatched and made contact with Adkisson. Adkisson, who was recently released from prison in Arizona and was on parole, was in possession of a stolen Ford F-150 and a camper as well as stolen license plates.

Police arrested Adkisson on five counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, stolen license plates and driving without a valid license/insurance. Adkisson has a history of vehicle theft and grand theft.
