The Jennifer Leavitt Student Center played host to the Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center banquet on Thursday evening in Price. The board members that preside over the center explored their vision of what they want to do in the future with the program. They based this event off of Christ’s birth and emphasized “Immanuel, which means that God is with us.”

Dinner was provided to all present at the event. Classical music was played on the piano by Christi Jensen and a musical number was presented by David Abuhl as they portrayed the evening with a classy elegance. Then, Bob and Jodie Wells, members of the board, spoke about the program and played a client testimonial video for those in attendance.

Concluding the event, Elyssa Edwards, executive director of LifeTalk Resource Center, spoke about her personal involvement in the program. She gave her personal story and information about how much she enjoys volunteering at pregnancy centers. Edwards also mentioned that she had been volunteering since a very young age. She likes to say that she was helping “before she was born” because of her childhood growth in a Christian home.
