On Thursday, the PTSA hosted the Green River High School Grad Night at the school. The event lasted from 9 p.m to 2 a.m. and was filled with fun events that included a volleyball and basketball tournament, a photo booth, bouncy houses and a mechanical bull.

Students and all those who attended were fed pizza, snacks and beverages through the night. Those that made it to 2 a.m. were served breakfast before the event ended. Drawings for prizes were held through the night. Seniors had a drawing with prizes such as Chromebooks, a printer and a speakers systems. For others who participated, the drawing prizes were gift cards.

The event costs about $5,000 to conduct each year. The PTSA raises about half of the funds through sales, tournaments and concessions. The remaining funds are raised through donations. Donors from Price, Green River, Moab and other surrounding areas gave to help support the event.

The goal for Grad Night is to provide a safe and fun environment for students on graduation night.
