The Utah State Office of the Bureau of Land Management has received an Application from Canyon Fuel Company LLC, 9815 South Monroe Street, Suite 203, Sandy, Utah, 84070, for a modification to the Skyline Logical Mining Unit (LMU) UTU73338, in accordance with 43 CFR 3487.
The approval of this application is proposed to be effective June 1, 2018.
The application for the proposed LMU modification is available for review at the Bureau of Land Management, Utah State Office, 440 West 200 South, Room 500, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101.
The Skyline LMU contains 9,520.16 acres and is comprised of Federal Coal leases UTU-0147570, UTU-0142235, UTU-020305, UTU-073120, UTU-044076, UTU67939 and private lands. The proposed LMU modification includes adding Federal Coal Lease UTU-77114 (2,692.16 acres), and two private tracts (634.24 acres). With the added lands, the new total acreage of the LMU will be 12,846.56.
