On May 10, Rascal Martinez will be welcomed to put on a performance at the John Wesley Powell Museum.
The concert goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $10. However, if you are a local to Green River, you can purchase them for $5 if you purchase them early.
Martinez grew up in Nebraska and began playing music at a young age. His career began in his family basement where he learned to play guitar and drums. A game changer in his career was back in 2011 when a Chicago DJ came across Martinez. Martinez has been a featured guest several times over the years, building a loyal fan base in Chicago.
His music channels a mix of rockabilly, folk and country with a mix of Latin melodies. Martinez enjoys writing his own songs but also appreciates performing the timeless hits from the 50’s and 60’s along with other genres.
