Pinnacle Canyon Academy Panther Riley Wilson produced an 88-shot round to began the 1A State Golf Tournament, which put him in seventh place. He was the lone golfer from Region 19 to make the cut as an individual.

“Riley once again has shown us how great of a golfer he is,” said Eric Hansen, head coach for Pinnacle golf. “With the weather windy and very overcast, Riley pulled through with an even better second day.”

He shot an 86, bringing his total to 174, good enough for sixth place overall in the state tournament.

“Riley is one of the hardest working athletes I have ever had the privilege of coaching. I am excited to see where life takes him,” concluded Hansen.
