Desertview Pro Rodeo held the last night of the rodeo for 2013 on Saturday night. Saturday drew the biggest crowd for the weekend. There were some local cowboys that preformed in the Saturday night events, Brock Winn from Ferron competed in the saddle bronc riding and did well with a 78 point ride. Justin & Brock completed as a team in the team roping but unfortunately they got a not time in this event. Brock Truman got a 12.8 time in the tie down roping event. It is always fun to watch and support the local cowboys and cowgirls. On Saturday night there was a “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” raffle drawing for a gun and a bow, the winner of the gun was Kyle Beagley and the winner of the bow was Ward Pierce, these prizes were donated by: Sportsmen for Fish Wildlife and Frayed String Archery. The over-all winners of the Hide Race were Bro Anderson and Barbie Powell. The over-all winners of the Wild Cow Milking were Merrill Duncan and Jake Nielson, they were presented with buckles and a knife, donated by Banaksy Insurance.
