McTeacher’s Night is a special event that is hosted by McDonald’s in order to give back to local schools.
Each school in the surrounding area gets their own night in which a percentage of proceeds from orders that are purchased inside the establishment are given to the school in question.
Sally Mauro had its very own McTeacher’s Night on Tuesday evening. Students held signs that they had created by the drive-thru and the front of McDonald’s, urging customers to go inside. The lobby of the fast food establishment found itself packed full as friends, family and various members of the community purchased soda, burgers, ice cream and more to help the school.
The total inside sales of the night will be counted and a percentage will be give to the school at a later date.
