San Rafael Junior High Presents Fall Choir Concert

Tuesday evening, family and friends gathered at the San Rafael Junior High for a fall choir concert.

Director Heidi Hill led the seventh grade choir through four numbers which included “When the Saints Go Marching In,” “Aloha ‘Oe,” “Cripple Creek” and Africa with percussion by Austin Albrecht, Dylan Hardman and Parker Sermon.

The girl’s choir performed “Edelweiss,” Sakura Matsuri with percussion by Dylan Hardman and Parker Sermon, and “Dream a Little Dream of Me” with soloists Kelsey Jackson and Kaydee Deto.

She then led the eight and ninth grade combined choir while they sang “Banjo on My Knee,” “Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel” and “All You Need is Love.”

The boy’s choir finished of the concert with their three numbers including “The Battle of New Orleans” with soloist McKray Duncan and guitarists Austin Albrecht and Jesse Braun, “Rushing Troika” and “We May Not Be Vampires.”
