Due to the success of the first event, a second community crosswalk painting party was hosted on Price City’s Main Street on Tuesday evening.

This event was paid for and arranged by the Price City Community Progress Committee. Southeast Paint and Design, as well as Sutherlands, donated supplies and brushes. Approximately 30 residents attended the event, including Carbon County Royalty, the Price City Council and Price City Youth Council, Mayor Mike Kourianos and Job’s Daughters.

Councilwoman and Community Progress Committee spearhead Terry Willis credited the event to being a great success.

This second event will be the last until next spring. However, Willis stated that the current painted intersections will be touched up and when the weather warms up once again, a number of other blocks on Main Street will be painted.

“So, stay tuned,” Willis concluded.
