Carbon hosted Salem Hills on Friday and was able to keep up with the Skyhawks in the first half. The contest was tied at one at the midway point.
The Dinos were unable to stick with Salem Hills as the Skyhawks capitalized on two second half goals for the 3-1 victory.
Parker Humes was the lone Dino to score in the game off of a first-half goal.
Carbon (2-9, 1-5 Region 15) will be away verse Maeser Prep (5-2-1, 5-2 Region 15) on Tuesday and then home again on Friday to take on ALA (9-1, 7-0 Region 15).
