The Spartan wrestling team traveled to Monroe on Tuesday to duel the Rams. Byron Christiansen (120) dominated his opponent with a nine-second pin. Dwain Farley won by decision (13-8) in the 126 weight class to tie the duel at nine.
Emery would get pinned in the 132 and 138 before Tyler Stilson won by major decision (16-6) in 145 and Bryar Meccariello pinned his opponent in 152. Maddex Christian was the last Spartan to find a victory when he won 13-12 in the 170 weight class. The Rams dominated the four heavy weights and took the duel 48-22.
Emery will be back on the road to duel the Rabbits in Delta on Thursday.
