In the final meet of the season, the Spartan Wrestlers defeated North Sanpete 66-15. All of the Emery varsity grapplers won their matches except one. The wrestler in this match went up a weight and lost by only one point, 2-1. Eight pins and one decision gave the Spartans the victory.

During the meet, senior wrestlers were honored, including Newt Oveson, Drake Hoffman, Zach World and AC Reeve. Prior to the varsity matches, these four wrestlers and their parents were honored on the mat. Three of these senior wrestlers, World, Reeve and Oveson, are being slated as top state finishers this year. Drake Hoffman has only wrestled this year and was congratulated for his achievements.

All of the coaches and cheerleaders were thanked for their support and help through the season. Also thanked during the evening were principals Gordon and Stilson, Eric Nielson and Willie Frisbee for their support.

The same evening, wrestlers hosted a fundraiser dinner and also raffled off a stadium chair and two quarters of beef. The winner of the stadium chair, Gratt Dalton, donated it back so that it could be auctioned again. A half time show was provided by the Emery High cheerleaders and Studio Gym Spinners Gymnastic Team as well as the Emery High drum line.
