Steven Douglas Jensen, age 40, our beloved husband, father, son, and brother passed away February 1, 2019 unexpectedly in his home. Born October 18, 1978 in Price, Utah to Doug Jensen and Patricia Slane Jensen. He married his sweetheart Jill Lynne Bushman, for time and all eternity, in the Mt Timpanogos Temple on May 31, 2003.

Steve graduated from Emery High School in 1997 and shortly after served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Columbus, OH. Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from Utah Valley University, during that time he met his eternal companion. Steve enjoyed his employment at Codale Electric Supply. Steve had a love for the outdoors, whether it was riding motorcycles and ATVs, or driving fast cars. He had a passion for camping at Ferron Reservoir and the dunes, having bon fires, playing golf or hitting at the driving range. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was always out coaching his boys or having Daddy Daughter football days with Savannah. Steve excelled at auto mechanics where he found joy in becoming everyone’s Fix-It-Felix. Steve’s greatest joy was serving his family and friends and was deeply committed to serving the youth in his wards. Although his life on this earth was cut short, the impact he made will last for eternity.

Steve is survived by his wife Jill; children, Blake; Easton; Landon; and Savannah; parents, Doug and Patricia Jensen, in-laws, Ken and Linda Bushman; siblings, Jeremy Jensen (Sharae); Andrew Jensen (Kelley); Monica Smith (Brent); Amanda Duke (Shaun); Kendall Bushman(Keri), Russell Bushman, Brent Bushman (Allison) and all nieces and nephews; his grandparents, Bill and Virginia Slane; and “The Priests” Brady Jenkins; Ryan Bennion; Derek Hoffman; Keldon Shepherd; and Jacob Porter, and their families. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ted and Joyce Jensen and one of “The Priests” Tucker Nielson.
