The TGIF in the Park program introduced a new addition to the Price City Wave Pool Friday night.

The addition is known as a Wibit, which is a small inflatable obstacle course. The Wibit has six different obstacles that one can enjoy on one’s own or against others. This new addition is for ages six and up.

The Wibit will be open to the public beginning on July 18 from 4-8 p.m. every Monday night.

“I tried one in Gunnison and loved it,” explained Allie Chamberlain.

The Desert Wave Pool wanted to add something fun for all to enjoy while bringing something new to Carbon County. Gunnison, Park City, Vernal and now Price are the only places that have a Wibit currently in Utah. The Wibit will be in the indoor pool and will take up the entire length of the pool.

There are, of course, rules set to follow with the new course; only two people can go at a time and the lifeguard has to instruct you when to go.

The cost at this time is not yet determined and will be posted at a later date.
