Tumblers Compete at the LHM Summer Games

The Pineau’s Tumbling and Trampoline Team traveled to Cedar City on June 7 and June 8, competing in the Larry H. Miller (LHM) Summer Games. The LHM Summer Games are an annual athletic event hosted by Southern Utah University. The event has been running since 1986 and features various competitions for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

All 24 of the local PT3 competitors took home a Summer Games medal. They team participated in three different events, which were Power Tumbling, Double Mini Trampoline and Trampoline. Winning three Golds in the event were Lennen Candelaria, Luxx D’Ambrosio, Aliyah Spigarelli, Lennyxx D’Ambrosio. Earning two Gold and a Silver were Kimber Oviatt and Mikelle Slama. Winners of one Gold and two Silvers were Ember LaBorde.

Two Golds and a Bronze went to Audacee Eden. MacKenna Payton went home with two Gold medals. Winning a Gold, Silver and Bronze was Lauryn Austin. Perri Mitchell and Sophia Stevenson would take home a Gold and a Silver. Bodie Blackham recived two Golds and a Bronze. Indie Pikyavit brought home a Gold medal. Locklynn Hackney, Madelene LaBorde and Jaxx D’Ambrosio brought home a Silver in each of the events. Two Silvers and a Bronze went to Zoey Cartwright. Angel Slama and Lilly Munsell claimed two Silver medals. Jaydexx D’Ambrosio won a Silver and two Bronze medals. Haigen Moosman brought home a Silver and a Bronze. Two Bronze medals went to Madilynn Hunt and one went to Navi Willson.

“Everyone of these kids did a fantastic job. A big thank you to all our very generous sponsors and to our very supportive families. A big thank you to the men who transported all the equipment, set it up and tore it back down. We had 5 USAG Judges and one local judge, Canessa Riffer,” stated Coach Nielsen. “Thank you to the score keepers and the volunteers who gave of their time and talents. Thank you to my coaches, Trinity Jackson and Jodie Young, who also did all the secretary work for the Summer Games Part of the competition.”
