Pinnacle opened its season as the Panthers took on the Diamond Ranch Academy Diamondbacks on Nov. 20. The Panthers were slow going in the first quarter offensively and found themselves in a big hole at the end of the quarter, 18-5. They were able to pick it up for the rest of the game but never could dig themselves out.

Turnovers played a big role as the Panthers had 20 turnovers as a team. They could not stop some players on the Diamondbacks as G. Frank and G. Ellsworth scored 26 and 29 points, respectively. Benjamin Scott led all scores for the Panthers with 12 points and seven rebounds. Landen Hardy pulled down 11 rebounds in the game.

The Panthers will look to clean up their game as they head to Wendover on Wednesday to take on the Wildcats (1-0).
