The School of Ghouls took place Thursday in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center at USU Eastern.

The event was put together by Chelsey Sorenson and featured many fun activities for kids and families to enjoy. There was a pumpkin knock-out, beanbag toss, zombie shoot-out, crafts, a cake walk, mini golf and more. Food was also served to all who attended.

Kids were encouraged to show up in their Halloween best as there was also a costume contest during the latter part of the evening.

Many kids came out in costumes of all varieties, and while it was surely a challenge for the judges to choose just three winners, a decision was made. First place went to two little girls dressed as Bo Peep and her sheep. Second place was awarded to a pair of little kids dressed as none other than Cheech and Chong. The third place spot went to a baby boy that was known simply as “biker baby.” The event was a successful and safe way for families to enjoy the fun of Halloween.
