Utah Youth Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras Serenade at The Rio

The Rio Theater was alive and thrumming with the sounds of symphony as a packed crowd was serenaded with an evening of Antonin Dvorak by the Utah Youth Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras.

This event was organized by the Helper Project, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the bettering of the town of Helper, and was sponsored by Zions Bank. The orchestras were conducted by the talented and experienced Barbara Ann Scowcroft. Scowcroft has boasted the title of conductor of the youth orchestras as well as music director since 1986.

The event was free to all that attended. A concession was available that consisted of beverages, nachos, popcorn and the like.
