The Carbon Lady Dinos were shut out against the Uintah Utes Thursday afternoon, 8-0.
The Dinos were shut out for the second time in three games. McKenna Sorensen, who came into the game with a 7-2 record, was credited with the loss. Carbon mustered just two total hits in the game.
Carbon (12-4, 1-2 Region 12) will host Emery (4-11, 1-3 Region 15) on Tuesday before traveling to Payson to take on the Lions Friday. The Dinos beat the Spartans 8-3 on Tuesday.
