The fire that broke out in Price Canyon on Wednesday has been named the “Royal Canyon Fire.”
The fire is near the Price Canyon Recreation Area Campground.
BLM Public Information Officer Jason Kirk said that the fire has currently consumed 87 acres and is expected to be 100% contained tomorrow. В There are no threats to property at this time.
There are currently 2 separate twenty-person crews fighting the fire.
“Fire activity is smoldering, and fire fighters are mopping up any hot spots near the fire’s edge.” reported Kirk.
