A 20-year-old burglary suspect who escaped Price City Police officers on Monday has been caught in Huntington Thursday morning.

According to a Price City Police Department press release, Manuel Christopher Mitcheson was arrested by Emery County Sheriff’s deputies without incident.

Mitcheson has been booked into the Carbon County Jail on three statewide warrants, burglary of a dwelling, and escape. Mitcheson is also a person of interest in an unrelated Price City investigation, the release stated.

Mitcheson escaped from Price City Police offices at 910 N. 700 E. at 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Soon after his escape, he entered a nearby home but ran when the homeowner confronted him with a pair of scissors. Mitcheson ran through several backyards and alleys, dropping a black hoody in the process. He was last seen in the area of 800 N. and 800 E., shirtless and barefooted.
