The 10-year-old State Cal Ripken Tournament begins Thursday in Price at the Toy Atwood Baseball Complex.
In the Thursday 9 a.m. games Carbon White beat South Sevier 14-5. Carbon Blue defeated Wayne 12-2. At 11:30 a.m., Gunnison beat Roosevelt by the score of 12-2, while Emery lost to North Sevier in seven innings by the score of 19-14.
The tournament will run through Saturday.
