Eleven people were transported for injuries following an accident in Spanish Fork Canyon on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred at mile post 183, one mile west of Diamond Fork Road, around 8 p.m.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a minivan, carrying two occupants, attempted to make a U-turn on the highway. The driver of the minivan did not see an oncoming 15-passenger van, carrying 10 occupants, and the two vehicles collided.
