On July 24, the annual Invitational Cornhole Championship tournament was held with over 20 teams competing. The 2015 champion team of Wayne Clausing and Catherine Kane returned to defend their championship but came up short and were eliminated in round two. Teams from several counties in Utah participated as well as teams from Arizona and South Carolina.
The tournament began with the National Anthem and the team selection and seeding process. Through all the rounds of the double elimination tournament and many hard-fought battles, including several sudden-death overtime matches, the team of Landon Harbin and Monica Clausing took home the championship trophies for first place.
