2017 Miss Melon Day’s Queen and Princess Pageants Winners Crowned

The Green River Princess and Miss Melon Days Scholarship pageants both took place on Sept. 8 and 9, respectively. Many local young ladies competed for the top spot in the pageants, showing their strengths and hoping to be chosen as the number one contender.

The theme for this year’s scholarship pageant was “Gone Country.” Earning the 2017 Melon Day’s Queen crown was Lindsey McFarlane. Also crowned at the evening’s festivities as the first attendant and second attendant were Jordanne Dinkins and Lindsey Alvarado.

For the Princess Pageant, Gracie Burnett was named the Tiny Princess with Kayzen Mayall crowned as first attendant. Marybeth Richards was crowned as the Little Princess with Audrey Walker-Matzke as first attendant and Brookylnne Gingerich as second attendant. Callie Pfander was awarded with the title of Junior Princess with Ashlyn Richards crowned as her first attendant.
