4 Busted on Drug Charges at Price Motel

Price City Police Department Press Release:

At 12:27 a.m. Wednesday, Price Police Officer Randy Salyer was dispatched to the National 9 Motel in Price on a call of possible drug activity. Officer Salyer was assisted by Carbon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brandon Wilson. Investigation by Officer Salyer discovered a room had been registered by two local residents, one being James A. Dedmon, DOB 4-24-84, of Price.

Mr. Dedmon, AKA “Mississippi,” has recently been released from the Utah State Prison and is currently paroled and being supervised by Adult Probation and Parole. The investigation resulted in contact at the motel room with Dedmon, Jared M D’Ambrosio, DOB 7-30-84 of Price, Nichole M. Davis, DOB 10-9-92 of Price, and Cheylee J. Montgomery, DOB 3-16-92 of Price.

Further investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately 12 grams of heroin, 1 gram of methamphetamine, over $600 cash, and numerous items of paraphernalia including several syringes and a digital scale.

Dedmon was arrested and booked into the Carbon County jail for Possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a 72-Hour Hold was placed on him. Dedmon has seven previous arrests, involving theft, drug possession, and drug distribution charges. He was paroled from prison 8-16-16.

D’Ambrosio was booked on Possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine With Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Paraphernalia. D’Ambrosio has 10 previous arrests, primarily for theft related type charges.

Davis was booked on Possession With Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Davis has one prior alcohol related arrest.
