Olson, owner of Balance Rock Appraisal in Helper, and current candidate for Carbon County Assessor, has just received the Senior Residential Appraiser designation from the Appraisal Institute (A.I.), in Chicago, Illinois. The Appraisal Institute is the leading real property valuation organization in the United States and has over 15,000 members in over fifty countries.
The Appraisal Institute empowers valuation professionals through community, credentialing, education, body of knowledge and ethical standards. A.I. designations represent the gold standard in the real property valuation profession.
The SRA designation required extensive coursework, a Bachelors degree, 3,000 hours work experience, a comprehensive exam, and a demonstration report. Robert is a Utah Certified General Appraiser, which allows him to provide appraisals on all types of properties, both commercial and residential.
