On Saturday, October 24 a 5K was held at Miners Trading Post to raise money for Katie Edwards’ medical fund. Katie Edwards is a first grade student at one of the local elementary schools.
Brittni at Miner’s Trading Post stated that they had 70 shirts in total and sold every single one of them. The attendance at the 5K was outstanding. The money raised for Edwards’ medical fund ended up coming to a little over $1,900.
