Kache Moosman returned to his home in Carbon County to participate in the Sunnyside Rodeo on Friday evening. He enjoyed the opportunity to compete in the same arena with many family and friends where he scored a 78 on Friday night to win the event.
This year’s event marked the 69th annual Sunnyside Rodeo. The 2019 royalty, including Elyza Taylor, Oaklee Hopes, Kaitlynn McArthur, Abree Allred and Danica Adams, moved cattle during the rodeo. The event was made possible by Diamond H Rodeo and the Grassy Trail Riding Club.
Before the main rodeo each night, a kids’ event took place with jackpot junior barrels, mutton bustin’ and mini bull riding. Kids had another chance in the arena during halftime with a chicken chase, dash for cash and hide race.
Moosman was back on the road on Saturday where he placed third in the long round and fifth overall in Santa Maria, California’s PBR Rodeo.
