The 6th annual Southeastern Utah Energy Producers Association (SEUEPA) Energy Days event took place once again on at the Carbon County fairgrounds as part of the 4th of July festivities on Monday. This event brought family and friends together to have a fun night. There were bounce houses, outdoor laser tag, a cupcake eating contest and more.

This year’s fan favorites were laser tag and coal shoveling contest. Energy Days kicked off this year with free hot dogs and ice cream to the first 1,000 attendees.

“This year was our largest turnout and I would personally like to give a big thank you to the volunteers and sponsors that put hard work and time into making this event possible,” stated Kara Hillam, SEUEPA director.

For the hot dog, pie and cupcake eating contests, there were prizes awarded to the top three finishers. At dusk, there were fireworks for the community to enjoy. This event took three months to plan and prepare and was not affected by the weather.
