Runners and walkers met early at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church early Saturday morning for the annual Greek Festival 5K.
Organized by Carbon County Recreation and Glenna Etzel, the sixth annual 5K took place in conjunction with the yearly Greek Festival Days hosted by the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Funds raised from the event will directly benefit the church and next year’s festival.
Buck Vasquez crossed the finish line first with a time of 27:57 and was followed by Sarah Oliver with a time of 28:33. Dalyn Oliver rounded out the top three with a time of 28:34.
