A truck hit a seven-year-old girl Tuesday near the Huntington post office.
The young girl was riding a motorized scooter when the truck began to pull out of the post office. The truck’s driver did not see the girl.
Fortunately, the truck was moving slowly at the time of impact.
The girl was rushed to Castleview Hospital where she was kept overnight for observation. She reported pain in her left ankle as well as some abdominal pain.
