Emery participated in the state drama competition Friday and Saturday at Parowan High School. All 1A and 2A schools participated in the event.
Overall, the Spartans took home fourth place and were awarded seventeen superior ratings.В Emery received best costume award while itsВ one-act play, “The Witching Voice,” placed third.
Colten Clement was named best actor andВ Kalin Reynolds and Craig Greenburg placed firstВ in contemporary scenes.В Clement,В Adrienne Carter and Taylor Hardman finished firstВ in classical scenes. Jaicelyn Shakespeare took fourthВ in dramatic scenes.
This was the final event of the year for the drama department.
