Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design is owned and operated by Neil and Debbie Breinholt who recently purchased the business. The duo is big into design and they had many ideas that they wanted to try so they made the decision to purchase the business.
In November 2014, Neil and Debbie started the process of training their newest paint mixer Austin by creating a shadowing program where he learned from Chase D’Ambrosio, the new store manager, and prepared to move to their new location. Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design opened for business on Jan. 5 and celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting on March 6.
“We have been received well,” Neil commented. “It is very gratifying.”
D’Ambrosio is involved in all aspects of the store and has been exposed to the bigger side of business. Debbie handles all the applications and permitting as well as payables and financing. With the help of many hours of integrating and training on Quickbooks from USU Eastern students, they have an accounting program that is at the level to operate.
Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design continues to carry the Southeast Paint line of customers paint codes and library of paint colors used and can match paint colors to fit a customer’s needs. They have picked up several more companies and manufactures including blinds and window treatments.
The store is now into the industrial side of Rust-Oleum with industrial products such as epoxy and marine paints. Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design has a variety of products to fit construction and industrial needs. In addition, with Breinholt’s Horizon Audio, they can install music systems, surround sound, theaters, security, lighting and shades.
Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design has tutorials with experts and manufacturer representatives that come into the store where customers can learn about different paint and design techniques with products sold at the store. People can learn easy face lift ideas and get help from professionals to help them decide what is best for their project.
Some of the many products that can be found at Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design is Dunn Edwards paint, Rust-Oleum and PPG – Devoe paint. They carry various brands of wallcovering from York, Brewster and Waverly including paintable wallpaper, high quality blinds and window treatments as well as Wooster brushes and accessories.
Also at the store, customers can also enjoy Dunker’s new showroom that features Jeanne Anderson’s gourmet specialty gifts.
