This weekend, Green River held its traditional Melon Days with plenty of fun for everyone. Events were held throughout the weekend, making family fun and filling bellies with melon.
Vendors filled the park, selling everything from jewelry to survival kits, clothing to tattoos. There were also bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses that were big entertainment among the young children attending the festivities.
Saturday evening, Charley Jenkins performed at the festival. Charley was a contestant on the NBC show Nashville Star, where he was a top 12 finalist. He is from Roosevelt, Utah and has been the opening act for Lady Antebellum, Allan Jackson, and Leann Rimes.
