Sheriff Funk of Emery County would like to advise all cabin owners and any citizens that might be in our mountains that the infamous mountain man burglar Troy Knapp has been seen in the area the past few weeks.
There have been confirmed sightings in Fairview Canyon (top of Huntington canyon) in Sanpete County. The suspect is believed to be headed north. If anyone has any contact with Knapp use caution and contact the sheriff’s office. Please be aware, the suspect is believed to be armed.
