Motorcycle Accident Leaves Price Man Dead

A Price man is dead following a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a motorcycle with one rider was traveling east on SR-6 near mile post 238.

“Witnesses report the rider was traveling in excess of the posted speed limit,” the Utah Highway Patrol shared. “The motorcycle left the roadway on the right hand side and traveled for about 1,000 feet off the roadway. At this point, the rider was thrown off the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered fatal injuries.”

Jamie Sanchez, 54, from Price died at the scene.

Troopers are still investigating the exact cause of the accident.
