Community members gathered at Orangeville City Park Thursday, Friday and Saturday to enjoy activities, food and games at the annual Orangeville Days Celebration.
On Thursday evening, a trap shoot was hosted at the Emery County Gun Club. Festivities continued on Friday afternoon with bike races, a lamb fry dinner and a pig/chicken chase. The community moved to Mill Dam baseball fields Friday night for a dance, games, concessions and fireworks to end the night.
Saturday, the final day of Orangeville Days, started at 6 a.m. with a 5K run. Breakfast was offered that morning before the children’s parade and the main parade. The parade was filled with local business floats, the National Guard Band, new Orangeville City council candidates, a ping pong ball drop and more. Kids were entertained by games that were offered at the park all afternoon while adults enjoyed a swap meet, a horseshoe tournament and more.
