It was recently announced that three players of the Emery High boy’s golf team have been named to the 2A All-State Team. Coach Kevin Reynolds said he is proud of the work that his players have put toward the team to have achieved this accomplishment.
The players that were named for the 2A team include Race Nielson, who was named for the first team, and McKoy Holt, who was named to the second team. Kyler Farley was given an honorable mention.
“They did a great job,” Reynolds said. “They went to state and a lot of them shot their best scores ever. Race Nielson shot his best score of the whole year. It was really enjoyable to watch them do so well. They’re all really good kids and I was happy for them.”
