Carbon County youth Hagen Campbell shot his way to victory at the recent state junior high rodeo.
The Wellington native scored a total of 79 points en route to a first-place finish in the rifle shoot competition.
Campbell also qualified for the national competition in which he will compete later this month. The national tournament will take place in Tennessee.
