Festivities Just Beginning at Carbon High School

Carbon High School began its back to school activities Wednesday night with a drive in movie featuring “The Sandlot.” The movie was screened in the parking lot of Carbon High School where students gathered in their vehicles and listened to the movie on the radio.

The festivities didn’t stop there as Thursday night boasted a luau at the Helper City Pool. There was a watermelon eating competition and many more activities for the student body to enjoy. Even teachers doing took part in the action by doing tricks on the diving board to raise money for upcoming activities. These activities were planned by Carbon High School Student Government.

Friday morning, the theme for the 2016-2017 year was reveled as “Strong Alone, Unstoppable Together.”
