The Lady Dinos’ days of glory are slowly slipping away as the season comes to a close with only two games left in the 2016 season.
The team traveled to take on the North Sanpete Hawks on Thursday in a wicked 6-1 loss. After the first 15 minutes of the first half, the Lady Dinos trailed 2-0.
Hope came for the Dinos when Elley Cowdell scored the only goal for Carbon. The team’s defense and offense were outmatched as the Hawks would go on to win 6-1 over the Dinos.
The JV team also ended the day with a loss, 3-0, with new goalies Kayla Barney and Madi Christensen protecting the net.
The Lady Dinos will travel to face the Canyon View Falcons on Thursday.
