Various members of the community gathered at the Price City Peace Gardens on Saturday morning to participate in a 5K geared toward raising awareness of domestic violence.
Once each participant had registered for the event, all were guided a couple blocks North to begin the race. A few words were spoken pre-race to urge all to remember how serious domestic violence is and to report any instance that they may see, hear or experience.
All proceeds from this race will go to the Domestic Violence Awareness Group of Carbon County. Results of the 5K can be found listed below.
