The Emery County Sheriff’s Office and Adult Probation and Parole recently held training at San Rafael Jr. High in Ferron. The scenario involved an unknown, suspicious intruder in the building.
The school was placed on lockdown as law enforcement searched the building and took the intruder into custody. The school then coordinated with law enforcement in practicing their evacuation plan.
