Panthers Kaden Daughters and Abe Acosta led the team, scoring 11 points each with Acosta netting two three-point shots in the game as well.
While the first quarter featured a close race between the two finishing 9-11, the second found Wendover putting up an additional 26 points to the board opposed to Pinnacle’s six, boosting the team’s margin to over 20 points.
Pinnacle wasn’t able to secure an advantage throughout the evening, but managed a game-high 11 points in the third.
The Panthers’ next chance to secure their first season win will come on Friday as the team hosts the American Leadership Eagles. Varsity play is slated to begin that evening at 7 p.m.
