Students at Carbon High School had the opportunity recently to get out of class 30 minutes early for the annual FBLA walkathon, where the students bought tickets representing various lap amounts.
The students were allowed to walk their laps on top of the track in the new gym. Once a student finished a lap, it would be checked off and they could continue on with their remaining laps or go home if they were finished.
All of the proceeds raised go towards Carbon Christmas to help reach the goal of $19,500. The walkathon raised over 1,000.
