Countless performers have joined in the telling of the timeless tale of Clara and her beloved nutcracker in the well-known holiday ballet “The Nutcracker.”
Dancers from Carbon and Emery counties came together as the Castle Valley Civic Ballet performed its third annual rendition of the tale last week. The ballet features a story wrought with beauty, imagination and magic as young Clara Stahlbaum journeys into a magical world with an enchanted nutcracker given to her by her eccentric Uncle Drosselmeyer.
Clara was played by Rylie Frandsen with Devin Harwood starring as the Nutcracker.
The ballet was directed by Stephanie Richards with Tori Frandsen, Rachel Allen and Julia Tatton as assistant directors.
