Community members gathered on the trail that begins in Spring Canyon to run and walk the second annual Running With the Bulls 5K to help raise money for Sally Mauro Elementary School on Saturday morning.
This fundraiser is put on by parents of the Sally Mauro PTA Gina Rappleyea, Tasha Morley and Kobi Prettyman. Running With the Bulls shirts were given to participants of the event.
“It’s something different than selling chocolate and encourages people to get in shape,” said Prettyman.
A total of 70 participants signed up to race the 3.1 miles back to Sally Mauro.
